Russian variety of late-autumn disease-resistant columnar apple. This variety is also suitable for climatically disadvantaged areas for apple growing. Gardeners particularly value this variety for its excellent taste.
Origin: VNIISPK Oryol Russia, breeder V.V. Kichina and N.G. Morozova. Released in 2015.
Vigour: moderate, semi-dwarf, columnar, final height 2 m, canopy closely pyramidal
Blossom: cross-pollinate, it is necessary to either plant two different and compatible kinds of apples in close proximity to each other to cross-pollinate
Fruit: weight under standard conditions 100 - 150 g, some apples even 200 g. Attractive bright dark red blush on the entire surface.
Pulp: snow-white, juicy with fine-grained texture and strong apple aroma. The taste is honey-sweet with gentle acidity.
Harvest season: first half of September
Storage: until January
Yield: high and regular, on average about 6 kg of apples can be obtained from a tree, but with good care up to 10 kg. Early yield onset, already in the 2nd - 3rd year after planting.
Frost resistance: high
Disease resistance: immune to scab (Vf gene), resistance to other fungal diseases at the level of the best resistant apple varieties. Suitable for organic or no-spray culture.
