Large-fruited red currant with highly valued taste properties. Belongs to the new generation of sweet-fruity varieties.
Vigour: strong, moderately spreading, healthy and robust. Very unpretentious, low-maintenance variety.
Site requirements: full sun location
Blossom: self-fertile, does not require a pollinator
Fruits: bunches long, on average 10 cm, full, the berries are placed along the entire length. Berries very large, 0.9 - 1.6 g, bright red, uniform, round, shiny. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and for various processing methods.
Taste: pleasantly sweet-sour with mostly sweet, better than conventional varieties. After freezing, the fruits keep their sweet taste.
Harvest season: mid-June
Yeald: very high, regular and stable
Disease resistance: resistant to fungal diseases, especially to American powdery mildew (Sphaerotheca mors uvae), anthracnose (Drepanopeziza ribis) and the main pests.
