A vigorous, pear-shaped quince with a golden yellow skin. The fruits taste sweet and sour and the yields are high and regular.
Origin: Vranja, Serbia in 1898, breeder Nenadovic
Vigour: strong, bushy, medium branching
Fruit: golden yellow, large to very large, 250 to 300 g on average, sometimes up to 1 kg, pear-shaped, irregular, hard, thick and very hairy skin
Pulp: light yellow, aroma and acidity break down quickly, very good for quince cider
Harvest season: early October, relatively easy to store
Yield: high to very high, regular
Disease and frost resistance: wood is somewhat susceptible to frost, slightly susceptible to powdery mildew
