Reliable, regularly bearing Slovak white currant variety, resistant to fungal diseases and adaptable to poor growing conditions.
Crossing: Heinemann's late x Red Lake, 1977
Vigour: strong, moderately dense, semi-upright, branches well. Height 1,0 - 1,5 m.
Blossom: self-fertile, blooms mid-early, the flowers are resistant to late spring frosts
Fruits: length of bunches on average 7 cm. The berries are large, whitish-yellow, spherical, ripen evenly. The pulp is colourless, juicy.
Taste: distinctly sour, aromatic
Harvest season: late, second half of July
Yield: regular and high. The average yield per shrub is 6 - 11 kg.
Disease resistance: resistant to anthracnose (Drepanopeziza ribis)
Frost resistance: fully hardy
