An older Dutch columnar autumn pear that is also good for planting in a container. It is very suitable for the home garden, balcony or terrace. The columnar shape should be promoted by regularly trimming the side shoots in summer.
Vigour: very slender, hardly any lateral branching, thin shoots, medium vigorous growth, final height 2.5 m, width 60 - 80 cm, distance between plants 60 - 80 cm
Blossom: cross-pollinate, pollinators are other pear varieties
Fruits: medium-sized, pear to bottle-shaped, yellow-green with light russeting
Pulp: aromatic, juicy, melting
Taste: sweet with fine fruit acid
Harvest season: mid-September, storage until January
Yield: regular and high. Early yield onset, already in the 2nd year after planting
