This mid-early variety originated as a selection from the wild in the USA.
Origin: found as a chance seedling by W. B Ward in 1950 in the wild in Rushville, IN
Vigour: strong, upright
Blossom: cross-pollinate, needs another plant Pawpaw for pollination, preferably another variety
Fruits: large, 170 g, 3 - 5 pieces per bunch
Pulp: yellow-orange, creamy, with a distinctive taste and aroma, contains some seeds
Harvest season: late September to early October
Disease resistance: There is no known sensitivity to fungal diseases or pests
Frost resistance: down to -28°C
