Large-fruited, mid-season ripening heart-shaped sweet cherry with high fruit quality and excellent taste, resistant to Monilia (Monilinia laxa) and frost.

Crossing: Napoleon White x pollen mixture of the varieties Valeriy Chkalov and Elton, breeders M.T. Oratovskiy and N.I. Turovcev. Released in 1983.
Vigour: on the rootstock Gisela 5, the cherry is just a small compact tree, reaches a maximum height of 2.5 - 3 m, does not take up much space and is suitable for small gardens. Canopy round, medium-dense.
Blossom: partially self-fertile, need cross pollination with a different variety of sweet cherry. The flowers are partially resistant to late spring frosts.
Fruits: very large, weight 10 - 13 g, some up to 18 g, round to broadly round, attractive dark red to burgundy red, resistant to fruit cracking even in heavy rain and high humidity. Peel firm, thin, shiny. Fruits have a high market value and excellent transportability.
Pulp: firm, juicy, crispy, freestone. The pulp and juice are dark red to burgundy red.
Taste: excellent sweet, dessert
Harvest season: ripening begins in the second half of June, harvest time is long. The harvest takes place in several steps. With immediate freezing of the fruits after harvest, their shelf-life is 6 months, while they do not lose their quality and retain vitamins and nutrients.
Yield: high and stable, on average 40 - 60 kg / tree. Full yield onset in the 3rd - 4th year after planting, but a small quantity of fruits could appear even in second year.
Special notes: the variety is valuable for its fruit quality, good health and frost resistance. Suitable for organic or no-spray culture.
