Siberian high-yielding, large-fruited variety with high fruit quality.
Origin: new breed 1-39-23 x new breed 68-2. Breeder I.K. Gidzyuk, N.V. Savinkova, A.P. Pavlov. Released in 2007.
Vigour: Height 160 cm, width 120 cm, moderately compact, stiff shoots, young ones hang over under the weight of the fruit
Fruits: average weight 1.3 g, length 4.5 cm and ø 1.0 cm, shape spindle-shaped, elongated, color blue-violet, with a thick wax coating. Skin rather thick, petiole scar dry. Sweet and sour in taste. Sugar content 15.5°Brix. Transportability good. Dessert fruits, also recommended for freezing.
Harvest season: second half of May, mechanical and hand harvest
Yield: harvest recommended in two dates. Average harvest from the shrub 3.2 kg. Average harvest per hectare 10.5 t/ha.
Disease resistance: no susceptibility to pests and diseases has been observed
Frost hardiness: completely hardy, even blooming flowers withstand frost -7°С
Special notes: to get a good harvest, it is recommended to plant different varieties next to each other, cross-pollination possible. The following varieties are recommended: Doch Velikana, Vostorg, Bakcharsky Velikan.
