French variety that is considered a milestone in tree nut breeding. Combines desired properties such as late budding with bacterial resistance, good kernel quality and plenty of fruit. Needs low temperatures in winter for optimal yields.

Crossing: Franquette x Lara, INRA, 1995
Vigour: the tree grows medium strong, upright. Late budding.
Flowering: medium late flowering, avoiding spring frosts. Blossom is protandrous, ie. male flowers bloom a little earlier than female flowers.
Pollination: Pollinator variety, good pollinator is Fernette®
Nut: large, diameter over 32 mm, spherical. Infructescence on side shoots, bearing laterally.
Kernel: light colour, veined, medium crunchy, fills the shell well. The kernel makes up 40 to 44% of the total weight of the nut.
Shell: thin, with slight dents, few ridges, easy to open
Taste: pleasant taste with good sweetness, without tannins or bitterness
Harvest season: the fruits ripen in the first half of October
Yield: high, the average yield is 3.5 t / ha of dried nuts. Early onset.
Disease resistance: resistant to bacterial rot (Xanthomonas arboricola pathovar. juglandis) and anthracnose (Gnomonia leptostyla). Overall, the tree is vital and adaptable to different climatic conditions.
Frost resistance: the tree is completely hardy
