Very productive early Canadian variety. Excellent for jams, jellies, baked goods and direct consumption.

Vigour: moderate, shrub reaches 4 m in height and 6 m in width. Shoots raised, plant shape round. Forms root shoots richly in the area of ​​the crown, which allows the shrub to spread. Leaves green, turning yellow, orange, red in autumn.
Blossom: mid-April, self-fertile, flowers white, blooms profusely
Fruits: oblong, pear-like shape, large, diameter 1.6 cm, tasty, sweet, crunchy. Fruits are purple-black, with a waxy coating, blue-black, in clusters of 7 - 13. Berries of similar quality to the Pembina variety, but slightly larger and resistant to cracking.
Harvest season: June, relatively evenly
Disease resistance: not too sensitive to fungal diseases, or pests
