Early season self-fertile late blooming Romanian apricot. Valuable for excellent taste and market properties, late flowering as well as resistance to fungal and viral diseases. The variety enables ecological cultivation without chemical sprays.

Crossing: Mari de Cenad x CR 24-12, breeders Elena Topor a dr.doc. Vasile Cociu. Released in year 2004.
Vigour: moderate
Blossom: late and rich, self-fertile
Fruit: large, weight 70 to 95 g, oblong shape
Fruit colour: very impressive, basic color orange, characteristic carmine-red coloring covers almost the entire surface of the fruit
Pulp: orange, moderately juicy with a fine consistency, freestone
Taste: balanced, aromatic
Harvest season: late June - early July
Yeald: high, regular. Early start to produce fruit.
Disease resistance: resistant to the most important apricot-specific diseases, free of viruses. Suitable for organic or no-spray culture.
Usage: universal, for fresh consumption as well as for industrial processing. Suitable for ecological cultivation in intensive production plantations.
