Well-known unpretentious and adaptable Russian winter apple variety with high frost resistance. Also suitable for diabetics due to low sugar content.

Origin: originated from national selection, gained great popularity and spread in the second half of the last century. It continues to occupy a leading position in the apple tree range in Central Russia, Belarus and many regions of Northern Ukraine.
Vigour: strong, tree is high, canopy oval to wide oval. Fruits are often found on biennial wood.
Fruit: medium to large, round to slightly flattened, ribbed, skin smooth. Color greenish-yellow when ripe for picking, yellow when stored, with little or no reddening. The fruits are characterized by excellent transportability and high market value. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption and all types of home processing.
Pulp: yellowish, juicy, aromatic, sweet and sour with a slight excess of acidity, unique. The ripe fruits have a strong, unusually attractive aroma.
Harvest season: mid-September
Storage: until January
Yield: late onset, full fertility begins in the 7th - 8th year after planting. High productivity, under normal conditions average continuous yields are up to 200 kg/ha or more.
