An unique ancient variety of apple with a red flesh coming from the Iranian village of Bakran, located about 60 kilometers from the town of Shahroud in the province of Semnan. This unusual variety will definitely be interesting for collectors of rare fruit trees.
Origin: Iran. The governor of Bakran said the red apple is indigenous to the region, and the oldest man in the village who died last year at the age of 110, still remember the apples produced in the village during his childhood.
Appearance: trees grow healthy, are highly resistant to diseases and pests. Not only apples and their flesh, but also seeds, young leaves, bark and tree roots are also red.
Fruit: medium, dark red
