Crossing: Ben Lomond x [(Seabrooks Black x Amos Black) x (Seabrooks Black x Ribes sp)], Scotland. Released in 1990.
Vigour: strong, upright shrub with aromatic leaves
Site requirements: full sun location
Blossom: self-fertile
Fruits: bunches of medium length with short stems, easy to pick. Medium-sized berries, stay on the bush for a long time.
Taste: sour, moderately aromatic
Harvest season: late, late July
Yield: high, suitable for commercial cultivation
Disease resistance: resistant to American powdery mildew (Sphaerotheca mors uvae)
Frost resistance: completely hardy
