Japanese plum valuable for its good taste properties and very good resistance to Plum Pox Virus (PPV) and other diseases. The variety is especially suitable for home gardeners.
Origin: variety bred in Canada by crossing Burbank and Wickson varieties
Growth: strong, the tree grows healthy
Blossom: flowers early, cross-pollinate, needs a polinator. Good pollinators are another varieties of Japanese plum or Russian plum, e.g. Kometa.
Fruit: large, 50-60 g
Fruit colour: basic color of the peel is yellow-orange the cover color is pink-red. Suitable for direct consumption and processing.
Pulp: juicy, yellow, aromatic
Taste: very good, after 2 weeks of storage it improves even more
Harvest season: early August
Yeald: regular, high and stable, bearing starts in 3rd or 4th year after planting
