This variety had been breeding in the USA and released in 1989. Bluegold blueberry is popular for its low maintenance, disease-resistant, simple cultivation, high yield, excellent fruit taste and long-term storage.
Picking season: medium early, heavy bearer, from 4 to 9 kg of berries per bush
Vigour: upright and low, the shrub reach a height of up to 120 cm with a large number of shoots
Fruits: medium-sized (70 pcs / 0.25 l), when ripen they reach a harmonious sweet taste. The fruits have excellent shelf life and last long in the cold in refrigerator.
Cold hardiness: verry high, up to -34°C
