High-yielding Dutch medlar with large fruits. Disease-resistant and easy to grow.
Vigour: strong growing variety with characteristic laurel-like leave. Tolerates drought well, for warm and sunny locations.
Blossom: very decorative, flowers in May, self-fertile
Fruit: large, weight 60 - 70 g, 5 - 6 cm in diameter, light flattened, peel brown. The flesh is brownish, firm at first and soft and doughy when fully ripe.
Taste: like apple and pear puree. Sweet, hot and irresistible.
Harvest season: October. It is not recommended to pick fruits firm sooner, the best way is waiting for them to ripen on the tree after first serie of frost.
Storage: after ripening and picking fruits can be stored only few days, it is possible eat immediately after pick from tree
Yeald: high and regular, start to produce fruit in 2-nd - 3rd year after planting
Usage: for fresh consumption, baking, jams, for burning
Disease resistance: high, suitable for organic or no-spray culture
