Realy large fruited late season ukrainian apricot variety. Valuable for excellent taste, good storage and transportability, very high frost resistance and increased resistance to fungal diseases. Due to the low cultivation demands and adaptability, it is particularly suitable for gardeners and for planting in the marginal areas of apricot cultivation.

Origin: Ukrainian selection, breeder Duka Stepan Charitonovich
Vigour: moderate, the tree grows healthy, tree height up to 3 m, crown round to expansive, moderately dense
Blossom: partialy self-fertile, blooming flowers are resistant to mild frost
Fruit: large, average weight 70 to 90 g, maximum up to 150 g, round shape
Fruit color: orange covered by carmine red face on the sunny side
Pulp: dark orange, juicy, fleshy, firm, freestone
Taste: initially more sour than sweet, but in full maturity excellent dessert taste, highly rated, harmonious with a balanced ratio of sugar and acids and a pleasant aroma
Harvest season: first half of August, fruits ripen evenly, stick firmly on the branches
Yeald: high, regular, tree pruning makes the fruits bigger
Disease and frost resistance: excellent
Usage: due to its adaptability, the variety is particularly suitable for gardeners and for areas where other apricot varieties cannot be grown due to the spring frosts. Suitable for organic or no-spray culture.
