Self-fertile sweet almond with a regular and high yield of quality nuts. The kernels are very large, the almonds can also be cracked in the hand due to the soft shell.
Origin: selection from Germany
Vigour: moderate, upright, canopy spreading, final height is 3 - 4 m. With occasional pruning, the tree height and width can be easily adapted to the limited space of a small garden.
Site requirements: sunny, thrives on dry, well-drained, humus-rich soil
Blossom: self-fertile variety, blooms late and very profusely in mid-March. Light pink flowers are very decorative.
Pollinator: the big advantage is self-pollination, otherwise pollination by bees could become problematic in bad weather during the flowering period
Fruits: large kernels, 4 - 5 cm long, oblong-oval, soft-shelled, with a pleasantly delicious sweet taste
Harvest season: late September, very productive variety
Yield: regular, very high, early yield onset. Almonds can be stored for more than a year after harvest.
Disease resistance: resistant to monilia, tolerant to other fungal diseases
Frost resistance: - 20°C to -25°C
