High yielding red currant from Holland. It is currently the most cultivated variety of red currant. Suitable for low and middle altitudes.
Vigour: strong, upright
Blossom: self-fertile
Fruits: large, bright red, firm, attractive looking berries, grouped in long bunches. The berries can be stored well. Suitable for fresh consumption, freezing and processing into jams and juices.
Taste: acidic
Harvest season: ripens from mid-July
Yield: high, regular
Disease Resistance: resistant to American powdery mildew (Sphaerotheca mors uvae).
