Most widespread variety in Canada. Very productive, the record is 40 kg of yield per shrub. Fruits are among the sweetest of all Amelanchier types.
Origin: selection from the Canadian varieties
Vigour: moderately strong, upright shrub, height 3 - 4 m
Blossom: April, self-fertile
Fruits: big, on average 1.3 cm, pulp very sweet, juicy
Harvest season: early, mid-June, the berries ripen at the same time in large clusters, yield an average of 7.5 kg per shrub
Disease resistance: not too sensitive to fungal diseases, or pests
Frost resistance: high
