Vigour: medium strong, semi-upright to upright, well garnished
Blossom: medium late to late, cross-pollinate, requires pollinator
Fruits: medium-sized, 35 - 40 g, oval to ovoid, dark to black-blue, with strong wax coating
Pulp: yellow, firm, very juicy, semi-freestone to clingstone, less suitable as a baking fruit
Taste: sweet-aromatic, spicy, one of the best flavored varieties, sugar content 22.0° Brix
Harvest seasen: medium late, first half of August, ripens very uniformly and can remain on the tree for a very long time
Yield: early onset, high, regular, extremely long harvest period
Special notes: the variety has a low susceptibility to Monilia and rust diseases and is generally a plum with very high leaf and wood health. The high sugar levels and the spicy aroma also make them very interesting for schnapps distillers, the high fruit quality and tree health for organic growers and direct marketers.
