This hybrid mountain ash was bred by Ivan Wladimirowitsch Michurin. Similar to the mountain ash, but genetically it is a hybrid mountain ash x chokeberry. In contrast to the common mountain ash (rowan), its fruits are suitable for fresh consumption straight from the tree and for processing juice and jam. Perfectly adapted to unfavorable climatic conditions. Cultivation is easy.

Fruit: round, average weight 1.2 g. Forming large clusters of sour cherry-red color. Pulp intense yellow, taste sweet and sour, slightly bitter. The fruits contain up to 33 mg / 100 g vitamin C. A special feature is the possibility of long-term storage for several months.
