Reliable robust thornless blackberry with strong, almost upright growth and very large tasty berries. Very easy-care, undemanding and profitable.
Origin: SIUS 68-2-5 (Black Satin x SIUS 64-21-4) x Ark 545 (Darrow x Brazos), USDA-ARS 1996
Picking season: from early July to early September, heavy producer
Fruit size: large even to very large, 7 g, sometimes more than 20 g
Taste: aromatic, semi sweet, only just a little bit sour, not too acidic as other blackberry varieties
Vigour: medium strong, half-erect shoots need support, without thorns
Cold hardiness: excellent
