One of the most popular large-fruited blueberries. Tolerant to wet and cool climate with shorter growing season, but it grows better in sunny and warm locations, then brings a larger harvest of better quality. Recommended for both hobby growers and commercial cultivation on mechanized harvesting plantations.
Vigour: upright, the shrub reach a height of 150 - 180 cm Fruits: very large (49 pcs / 0.25 l), in size balanced, very tasty, aromatic, with firm peel. In order to achieve a balanced quality harvest of large berries, shrub requires an annual thinning of the old shoots by pruning and sufficient irrigation during the growth and the ripening period. Harvest season: early, berries begin to ripen in the third decade of July. Harvest 5 - 9 kg per shrub. Disease resistance: resistant to the soil parasitic fungus Phytophthora cinnamomi Frost resistance: verry high, up to -40°C
