Crossing: Kimizuka Wase x Gion, Japan
Vigour: moderate, upright, well branched tree
Blossom: medium early, cross-pollinate variety, needs another apple pear for pollination. It is also a good pollinator for all other Nashi varieties.
Fruit: medium-sized, average weight 120 - 140 g, round, stem long. Peel smooth, basic color yellow, later bronze-amber yellow. The fruits do not tend to fall.
Pulp: white, firm, aromatic and juicy
Taste: honey sweet
Harvest season: ripens in mid-August, fruits can be consumed immediately after ripening. Storage in the refrigerator is possible for 2 - 3 months.
Yield: moderate, regular
Location: warm and medium locations with sufficient moisture
Disease Resistance: resistant to scab (Venturia nashicola) and to leaf spot disease (Alternaria Kikuchiana). Susceptible to fire blight (Erwinia amylovora)
