The advantages of this variety are frost resistance, resistantce to American gooseberry powdery mildew, drought resistance, excellent taste properties, large fruiting and reliable yields.

Crossing: Malakhit x Samorodok, breeder Ilyin Vladimir Sergeyevich, Chelyabinsk, released in 1998
Vigour: moderate, moderately spreading, dense. Numerous shoots are almost without spines.
Site requirements: direct sun
Blossom: self-fertile
Fruit: large, weight 6 - 8 g, oval, cherry-red color, skin thin, smooth
Taste: excellent, harmoniously sweet and sour, highly rated
Harvest season: mid-early, mid-June
Yield: very high and regular. Long-term average yield 12.0 t/ha, maximum up to 23.0 t/ha. Yield from one shrub is between 3.7 to 6.9 kg. The berries are suitable for fresh consumption and for processing into juices and jams. The variety is also suitable for commercial cultivation.
