Pear Columnar (Pyrus communis) DECORA

Autumn pear with a columnar growth and excellent taste. It is very suitable for the home garden, balcony or terrace. The columnar shape should be promoted by regularly trimming the side shoots in summer.

Vigour: moderate, slender, columnar, final height of growth approx. 2 - 3 m, growth width of 50 - 70 cm, distance between plants 60 - 80 cm
Blossom: self-fertile
Fruits: medium-sized, 150 g, rusty red on the sunny side. Skin washed out brownish to bright red.
Pulp: semi-melting, juicy, aromatic
Taste: sweet, slightly sour
Harvest season: late September to early October, can be stored until mid-December
