Plum (Prunus domestica) TOPFIRST®

Very early Plum pox virus resistant variety popular for its excellent flavor characteristics, early ripening and fruit quality.

Crossing: Cacak Fruitful x Ruth Gerstetter, 1992
Vigour: medium to strong
Blossom: medium early, self-fertile
Fruits: medium-sized, 35 - 40 g on average, ovoid, medium-firm to firm. The color is blue and has a nice blue wax coating.
Pulp: yellow - orange colored, juicy, freestone, with good taste and good baking properties
Harvest season: early July, fully ripe fruits fall easily from the tree
Yield: high, stable and regular. Since this variety is very productive and likes to hang in clusters, the fruits are purple in the shade. As with many TOP varieties, yield regulation is recommended.
Special Notes: suitable for gardeners and commercial growers. High resistance to fungal and bacterial diseases allows organic cultivation without chemical sprays.
