Productive variety, blooms and ripens earlier than other Saskatoons. Preferred by amateurs. Shrub attractive to insects and birds. Recommended for direct consumption, cooking, baking, jams and jellies.

Vigour: strong-growing shrub, up to 5 m high. Young plants are characterized by a raised and compact plant shape, older shrubs tend to spread (width up to 6 m). Formation of root shoots moderate to intensive. Long-lived shrub, reaching up to 70 years. In autumn the leaves turn yellow.
Blossom: mid-April, self-fertile, flowers white, blooms profusely
Fruits: large, up to 1.7 cm in diameter, almost round, bluish-black with a faint coating, juicy, sweet taste. In loose clusters 6 – 12 pieces.
Harvest season: early, mid-June, unevenly
Disease resistance: not too sensitive to fungal diseases, or pests
Frost resistance: high
