Large-fruited mid-season Japanese pear with an excellent taste.
Vigour: trees grow abundantly, branching well
Blossom: april, cross-pollinate variety, needs another apple pear for pollination
Fruit: firm, large, average weight 200 grams, flat spherical with a long and firm stem. Peel smooth, bronze-brown in color, firm and dry. Low tendency to fruit cracking. The fruits are excellent for fresh consumption, but also for processing into jams, compotes or spicy winter salads.
Pulp: white, firm, crispy while juicy, The core is small, contains some small black seeds.
Taste: sweet, slightly acidic, aromatic
Harvest season: ripens gradually from September, storage in the refrigerator is possible for 4 - 5 months
Location: warm and medium locations with sufficient moisture
Disease Resistance: resistant to scab (Venturia nashicola). The main advantage is the high resistance to diseases and pests, thanks to which we can largely avoid spraying and other measures.
