Cornelian Cherry Dogwood (Cornus mas) LUKYANOVSKY

One of the best Ukrainian Cornelian cherries with excellent taste properties and a long shelf life.

Vigour: upright
Blossom: self-fertile
Fruit: dark red, elongated pear-shaped, weight 6.0 - 7.5 g. Sugar content 8.4%, organic acids 1.9%, vitamin C 128 mg / 100 g. Ripe fruits have a good shelf life and can be stored for approx. 3 - 4 weeks.
Pulp: dark red, juicy, aromatic with an excellent sweet and sour taste
Harvest season: the second half of August to early September
Yield: high and reliable. The yield of a 15-year-old shrub is around 35 - 45 kg fruits
Usage: ripe fruits are best for fresh consumption, but also for processing such as jelly, jam, fruit juices, syrups or candied fruits
Disease resistance: generally good resistance to fungal diseases and pests
