Honeysuckle-Haskap (Lonicera caerulea) EISBÄR®

Very productive early variety. Since this shrub does not make any great demands on the soil, it is very popular. Fruits are suitable for direct consumption or for further processing into jam, fruit puree, but also for delicious cake recipes.

Origin: comes from the Russian breeding selection of the most promising Russian varieties
Vigour: compact, dense shrub, height of growth 1 - 2 m
Blossom: blooms in March with striking green-yellow shimmering flowers
Fruits: very large, averaging 3.0 - 4.0 cm x 1.5 cm. They are rich in vitamins C and D, and high in antioxidants. The taste is similar to blueberries.
Harvest season: very early in May
Yield: medium-high, 8 - 10 year old shrub bears up to 4.5 kg of fruit
Disease resistance: no susceptibility to pests and diseases has been observed
Frost hardiness: completely hardy, even blooming flowers withstand frost -10°С
