Ukrainian almond variety bred in the Nikita Botanical Garden, Crimea, in the city Yalta.

Vigour: the tree grows moderately and reaches a height of 3 - 4 m. Forms a broad crown in the shape of a fan. By pruning the canopy, the tree height and width can be easily adapted to the limited space of a small garden.
Site requirements: sunny, thrives on dry, well-drained, humus-rich soil
Blossom: cross-pollinate, blooms profusely, late, the flowering period is long. Flower buds are resistant to spring frosts. Light pink-white flowers are very decorative.
Pollinator: Palatina, or another almond variety blooming at the same time
Fruits: oblong, 3 - 4 cm long, 2 - 2.5 cm wide, with an average weight of 4 g. Shell thick, light brown. Kernel oblong, dark brown with a thick white flesh of an oily consistency. Kernel share is about 42% of the total weight of the fruit, the oil content is 54%. The kernel are intended for universal use, they don't shrink with age.
Harvest saeson: medium early, first half of September
Yield: the tree begins to bear fruit in the 2nd or 3rd year after planting, the harvest is regular and very high. The average yield of a mature tree is up to 20 kg of almonds per season. Almonds can be stored for more than a year after harvest.
Disease resistance: the variety is resistant to fungal diseases and pests
Frost resistance: to -25°C, we recommend planting up to 400 m above sea level
