Late season apricot variety. Valuable for excellent taste and quality properties, good shelf-life and transportability, very high frost resistance and increased resistance to fungal diseases. Origin: seedling of own generation x free pollination, Botanical Orchard, Academy of Sciences Moscow, breeder Larisa Andreyevna Kramarenko. Released in 2004.
Vigour: moderate, the tree grows healthy, tree height up to 3 m, canopy spreading, moderately dense
Blossom: partially self-fertile, blooming flowers are resistant to mild frost
Fruits: weight 55 to 65 g, shape oval, flattened on the sides. Thanks to the firm peel, the fruits retain their high marketable quality and good shelf-life after transport.
Fruit color: orange covered by red blush on the sunny side
Pulp: bright orange, juicy, fine, medium firm, freestone
Taste: excellent dessert taste, highly valued, sweet, pleasantly aromatic
Harvest season: from mid-August, fruits ripen evenly and hold firmly on the branches
Yield: high and regular, on average 20 - 25 kg / tree. Full yield onset in the 4th year after planting.
Disease and frost resistance: excellent
Usage: for fresh consumption and for processing. Due to its adaptability, the variety is particularly suitable for areas with the occurrence of spring frosts, where other apricot varieties cannot be grown. Suitable for organic or no-spray culture.
