Popular late Ukrainian variety with an attractive fruit shape, excellent taste properties and long shelf life.

Vigour: upright
Blossom: self-fertile
Fruit: large, broad pear-shaped with fine ribs, dark burgundy to black when fully ripe, average weight 5 - 8 g. Ripe fruits have a good shelf life and can be stored for approx. 3 - 4 weeks.
Pulp: dense, juicy, freestone, with a full sweet and sour taste and mild aroma
Harvest season: late, mid-August to late September
Yield: moderate, regular, 19 to 29 kg fruits / adult shrub
Usage: ripe fruits are best for fresh consumption, but also for processing such as jelly, jam, fruit juices, syrups or candied fruits
Disease resistance: generally good resistance to fungal diseases and pests
